Cytisus scoparius (Broom) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Ukraine, Switzerland, Hungary, United Kingdom, Poland, Portugal, Western North America, Sweden, Moldova, Belgium, Romania, Lithuania, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Yugoslavia, Italy, Norway, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, France, and Belarus. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Dangling Swamp-lover, Honey bee, New Zealand Sweat Bee, and Neocnemodon verrucula. Individuals can grow to 7 feet.
