Bigg Boss Telugu fame Shanmukh Jaswanth has found himself embroiled in legal turmoil once again. Reports have emerged indicating that Shanmukh, along with his elder brother Vinay Sampath, has been detained by the Narsingi police in Hyderabad in connection with a drug case.
The alleged involvement of the duo in drug-related activities came to light during a police investigation into a cheating case filed against Sampath by a woman. The victim alleged that Shanmukh had promised her roles in web series, while Sampath had failed to fulfill a promise of marriage and had sexually assaulted her.

During a search of Shanmukh's residence in Puppalguda, police reportedly discovered drugs. It has been suggested that both brothers were regular consumers of drugs within the premises. Subsequently, both individuals were detained, and the police are currently conducting interrogations. Sources indicate that the brothers have been arrested in separate cases.
This development follows Shanmukh's previous entanglement with the law, having been previously arrested in a hit-and-run case in Jubilee Hills.
