Last week, FMC attended the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit in San Francisco. Our Chief Technology Officer, Seva Rostovtsev, participated in the Innovations in Mode of Action and Delivery Technology panel. The discussion covered a range of important topics, including: • Active ingredients that demonstrate the greatest potential across biostimulants, biocontrol and bionutrition. • The role of artificial intelligence in driving innovation in bioprotection and delivering cost-efficient biological solutions to growers. • Strategies for integrating synthetic and biological solutions to help growers achieve both economic and environmental goals. We also enjoyed connecting with new innovators and our portfolio companies at the event: Guardian Agriculture, Micropep Technologies, Scanit Technologies, Inc., Niqo Robotics and AgroSpheres. #FMC #WorldAgriTech #Innovation #AgTech

San Francisco was the epicenter of AgriFoodTech innovation last week, and the energy at World Agri-Tech and Future Food-Tech was unmatched! ➡️ At World Agri-Tech, Hadar Sutovsky took the stage to explore how corporate venture capital is evolving in AgTech and what this means for startups, investors, and industry leaders. In a dynamic discussion alongside Sarah Nolet, Erin VanLanduit, Michael Lee, and Sebastien Pascual, the panel tackled: 🔹How CVC’s compare to traditional VC’s in the current market conditions 🔹The recent shifts of CVC in AgTech since the election 🔹What traditional VC’s and founders misunderstand about the CVC model ➡️ The networking roundtable, ‘AI-powered Ag’ co-hosted with Eyal Ben-Chanoch CEO of agrematch, sparked incredible discussions about how corporate investors are driving AI innovation in agriculture. ➡️ At Future Food-Tech, Hadar joined industry leaders from Shiru, Synonym, Unilever, and Merrick & Company to explore how multi-stakeholder partnerships accelerate food-tech innovation. → From scaling startups to designing next-generation facilities, the key takeaway was simple: collaboration is the catalyst for progress. ➡️ Another pivotal conversation was at the ‘AI as a Disruptive Technology for the Food Industry’ roundtable, hosted by Ratna Mukherjea, PhD and Sooyoun Seo. The conversation highlighted real-world applications of AI that are already transforming the industry. → The conversations don’t stop here. ICL Planet is committed to supporting technologies that transform the way we grow, produce, and consume food. Until next year, we look forward to continuing these conversations, driving impact, and returning with even more breakthroughs in 2026! It was our pleasure to host XPRIZE's Moonshot Workshop at #WorldAgriTech earlier this month, the energy in the room and between prize concept presentations was just incredible!
We recently hosted a Moonshot Workshop at the #WorldAgriTech Summit. 🌾 Attendees from diverse fields came together to ideate on prize competition ideas across two areas: agriculture systems for farming climate solutions, and MRV for these new types of agriculture systems. Here are some highlights from the event: ➡️ XPRIZE EVP, Climate + Energy David Babson discussed the current state of the climate crisis. ➡️ XPRIZE EVP, Food + Water + Waste Lauren Greenlee gave an inside look at the exciting new prize concepts within this focus area. ➡️ XPRIZE SVP, Partnerships + Impact Elaine (Fischer) Hungenberg spoke about the historical impact of the foundation and its 30 years of prize competitions. ➡️ Sarah Garland, PhD, Founder and Executive Director of the Triple Helix Institute for Agriculture, Climate, and Society, shared her efforts in raising awareness of AgTech’s critical role in climate action and developing solutions that drive societal benefits. ➡️ Participants pitched eight brilliant prize concepts. The winning prize idea, Enabling Prize Adoption at Scale, was pitched by Sarah Federman at Carbon Direct. This prize would challenge innovators to develop verifiable solutions to overcome financial, social, and agronomic barriers to scaling sustainable farming practices for major global crops. A big thank you to World Agri-Tech for hosting us! If you are interested in learning more about or sponsoring any of the prize concepts or the winning pitch, please reach out to Jeannette Fournier at XPRIZE.

The panelists shred their insights on the agri-food investing landscape and how industry players can help build a sustainable innovation ecosystem. At Future Food-Tech, S2G’s Chuck Templeton sat down with Brian Loeb of Conti Ventures (Continental Grain Company), Scott Horner of dsm-firmenich Ventures, Alessandro Cataldo of Sinyar, Rachel Resek of Ki Tua Fund, and James Caffyn of Lever VC. The discussion focused on financing the food sector and attracting capital and non-dilutive funding.
