A suspended Las Vegas police officer filmed naked bathroom videos of his wife and her sister - and they were happy to let him, a court heard.

Former Metropolitan Police Department Sgt. Kevin Menon, 43, has been accused of installing cameras in vents in his home bathroom that captured 28 clips depicting his wife Natasha Menon and her sister Tamara Russell's buttocks and genitalia.

During a hearing Wednesday, Natasha, 33, and Tamara, 26, strongly defended Kevin, stating that the videos he took of them were consensual, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

'The allegations are false. I am absolutely not a victim. I feel victimized by the Clark County district attorney's office and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department,'  Natasha said.

She said she did not answer detectives when they came to her apartment and asked if she was the person depicted in the videos.

Kevin's sister-in-law echoed Natasha's defense of the former cop, stating that the department was 'making up a crime that did not happen.'

'They left and decided to go ahead with making up a crime that did not happen,' she said as she held up a sign that read 'I don't need a white savior, Hamner' while clutching Kevin and her sister.

Her bold sign appeared to be a direct dig at Chief Deputy District Attorney Christopher Hamner, who is prosecuting the bizarre case.

Hamner, who said Kevin appears to have a 'fetish' and a 'sickness,' alleged both his wife and sister-in-law did not know they were being recorded.

Further details on the nature of the relationship or why the wife and her sister were filmed in the sordid clips was not revealed.

'That we're not going to get into, but that's our personal business and it has absolutely nothing to do with anything they’re alleging,' Natasha said.

Hamner alleged that other videos from Kevin's laptop and cellphone revealed that he also had a 'fetish' for urination-related pornography.

'These crimes clearly reflect Defendant’s predisposition to abuse his power and exploit those most vulnerable in our society, including those people closest to him,' Hamner said in the filing, reviewed by the outlet.

'Defendant’s newest crimes make clear what the State has already argued to the courts: that there is simply no way a Court can effectively monitor Defendant in such a way that can prevent him from continuing to victimize people.'

This is not the first time the disgraced cop has been in trouble with the law, as he was previously accused of illegally detaining people on the Las Vegas Strip and possessing hundreds of sexual images of young girls.

In his first case, Kevin has been accused of using his power as a police officer to make up scenarios that led to citizens, specifically black men, being arrested, 8 News Now reported.

At the time of the alleged crime, Kevin was leading a group of officers on the Strip.

Body cam footage later showed other officers dressed in uniform there while Kevin donned normal, civilian clothing.

Detectives said they then seized his electronic devices and discovered child pornography, which resulted in a second criminal case against him, according to the outlet.

In response to his alleged illegal arrests, Kevin said he was trying to expose racism within the police department, court documents, reviewed by 8 News Now, revealed.

Tamara has previously shared how much she loves her brother-in-law on social media, even sharing a family photograph calling him her 'role model.'

'My brother-in-law, Sgt. Kevin Menon has been a part of my life since I was 10 years old. Since then, he has been a role model to me,' she wrote.

'He helped mold me into the confident, well-rounded young woman I am today. As said perfectly by my dearly departed mother, seen in this picture.'

In the comments, she continued on about Kevin being, 'the best person I've ever known'.

'My family and I pray everyday that the public will open their eyes and see the wonderful man we know, and the horrendous injustice that is being done to him by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department and the District Attorney’s Office.'

It is unclear how long Kevin and Natasha have been married.

Kevin pleaded not guilty and invoked his right to a speedy trial during the hearing for the footage allegations.

He appeared out of custody, but prosecutors have filed a motion to reset his bail from its current $56,000 to $1 million, the outlet reported.

A bail hearing for Kevin has been set for Monday. His trial in the filming case has been scheduled for June 2.

DailyMail.com contacted Hamber, Kevin's attorney Robert Draskovich and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for comment.
