Stunned Lakers fan goes viral for his reaction to Josh Giddey's insane half-court buzzer beater for the Bulls
A Los Angeles Lakers fan has gone viral for his shell shocked reaction to Josh Giddey's remarkable half-court buzzer beater that handed the Chicago Bulls victory on Thursday night.
With the Bulls down by two, the Australian produced an almighty heave from inside his own half as the buzzer sounded to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Bulls fans went wild in the stands at United Center as Giddey was mobbed by his teammates in chaotic scenes at the end of the game.
But the TV camera cut to one Lakers fan, surrounded by jubilant Chicago rivals, who had a priceless reaction.
The devastated Lakers fan looked completely stunned by what he'd just seen on the court.
The camera continued to zoom in on his pained face but he remained unmoved, frozen and stunned into silence by Giddey's remarkable effort.

NBA fans took to social media to mock the Lakers fan in the aftermath of the game.
One posted: 'The new meme just dropped. Lakers fan in shock.'
A second commented: 'That's literally my reaction while watching these fans jumping and celebrate while cooking my team badly.'
A third added: 'Literally me right now'.
Others called him 'poor guy' while a rival labelled him a 'clown'.
LeBron James scored a last-second game winner win for the Lakers against the Pacers on Wednesday night.
But 24 hours later, Los Angeles was on the wrong end of an incredible ending in the NBA.
Patrick Williams reduced the deficit for the Bulls with a three-pointer and then James immediately gifted Chicago possession with a terrible turnover.

Giddey made the steal and then Coby White scored another three-pointer to give Chicago the lead.
That gave the Lakers 6.1 seconds to turn the game around once more. Austin Reaves drove at the basket and scored a lay-up to put Los Angeles 117-116 ahead.
But there was still enough time for Giddey to score. LeBron was the nearest defender to the Bulls star as he shot from inside his own half.
'Special moment to do it with these guys, this team,' Giddey said.
'Devastation,' Lakers coach JJ Redick said. 'It´s a hell of a way to lose a basketball game.'
