  • It’s that time of year! We’re less than a month away from our #HFGala2025, the most epic night of the year! Our annual gala is the time we come together to celebrate the work done not only at the Federation but also across our 780+ members and partners who faithfully serve the community day in and day out! This night would not have been possible without our amazing sponsors. Every penny raised at the Gala fuels the Hispanic Federation's mission, which includes providing essential support to our most vulnerable communities across 42 states and territories. Without our very gracious sponsors, Charter Communications, The Coca-Cola Company, NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, Hennessy, Morgan Stanley, New York City FC, Popular, RBC Capital Markets, T-Mobile, Wells Fargo, Brown Brothers Harriman, Merck, TelevisaUnivision, and Toyota Motor Corporation, we could not sustain this invaluable work, so make sure to stay tuned with all our updates as we ramp up for this year's Gala!

  • This week, Hispanic Federation invited leaders and allies from across the U.S. and Puerto Rico to HF’s Encuentro Digital, a Latino Digital Skilling Symposium. The event brought together Hispanic Federation partners to tackle the Latino digital divide and explore strategies for advancing digital equity and workforce development. Encuentro Digital showcased the power of nonprofit, public, and private sector collaboration to expand digital opportunities for Latino families and workers. Thank you to all the panelists and partners who attended, and let's keep the work going!

  • 🚨 3 Days of #EncuentroNacional. Over 50+ Congressional Visits. 1 Message. Yesterday, we wrapped up three transformative days of advocacy at our inaugural #EncuentroNacional! Alongside our 150 partners, we took our fight to Capitol Hill, urging Congress to enact policies that empower and sustain nonprofits—not weaken them. HF is proud to have been a bridge for these crucial conversations, ensuring our collective voices are heard at the highest levels. But the work doesn’t stop here. Your voice matters! Join the movement and take action today: 🔗https://p2a.co/sh0icc.

  • That’s a wrap on Day 2 of #EncuentroNacional! Today, Hispanic Federation and over 130 partners & members participated in a full day of advocacy training, preparing to take their voices directly to Congress tomorrow. These sessions equipped participants with the tools and strategies needed to be effective advocates for their communities. We were also excited to be joined by Congressional leaders, including Rep. Maxwell Frost & Rep. Chuy García. 🎉 We closed the day with a special dinner reception at Google, where HF President & CEO Frankie Miranda joined Chanelle Hardy to discuss our longstanding partnership in digital workforce development!

  • Day 2 of #EncuentroNacional is underway! 📢 We kicked off the day with a powerful press conference alongside 130+ organizations demanding that Congress listen to the Latino community. Policies that ignore our needs and make daily life more challenging—from ICE raids targeting once-safe communities to economic policies driving inflation, leading to disproportionately more strain on the pocketbooks of low- and middle-income Latinos. 🗣️ Our message is clear: Latino voices must be heard. A huge thank you to Rep. Maxwell Frost, Rep. Jesús “Chuy” García, Carolina Migrant Network, Orlando Center for Justice, Inc., and Instituto del Progreso Latino for standing with us and empowering our communities. Up next: We’re diving into a full day of advocacy training—stay tuned!

  • Hispanic Federation president and CEO, Frankie Miranda, was invited to speak on CNN this morning to discuss our week of legislative action, #EncuentroNacional, and condemn the administration’s unjustifiable ICE raids, which are violating the civil rights of Latinos across the country. Over 100 of Hispanic Federation partners have gathered in D.C. to make clear that our communities should not be taken for granted! Thank you Kate Bolduan for holding space for these important conversations!

  • Washington, D.C. – Today, we kicked off #EncuentroNacional, our week-long National Legislative Summit! This annual gathering unites Hispanic Federation members and partners from across the country to advocate for policies that uplift Latino communities. At a time when Latino issues are at the forefront, this summit serves as a crucial platform for Congress to hear directly from our communities about their values and policy priorities. HF President & CEO, Frankie Miranda, opened the summit with a compelling presentation on the state of Latino nonprofits in the U.S., followed by an insightful HF charla moderated by The Washington Post National Politics Reporter, Sabrina Rodriguez. The discussion featured leaders from four member organizations, highlighting key challenges and opportunities for our communities. 📢 Join us tomorrow for our press conference at the House Triangle and a full day of advocacy training! Stay tuned as we continue to elevate Latino voices in the policy space.
