Hershey Company opens new, advanced Reese Chocolate Processing Facility in Derry Twp.
With Easter right around the corner, the Hershey Company joined with government officials April 16 to unveil a new Reese Chocolate Processing facility. Built on 55 acres of the former Friendly's restaurant site, the new 250,000-square-foot facility will produce the chocolate used in a variety of brands, including Reese’s, KitKat, Symphony, and Special Dark. IUP HOSTS RURAL HEALTH CONFERENCE, ANNOUNCES $1 MILLION GIFT TO PROPOSED OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE COLLEGE
Indiana University of Pennsylvania played host today to the first of four Regional Rural Health Summits at the KCAC. Dr. Valerie Arkoosh with the Human Services department said this was the first conference of its kind, and there will be others across the state. She said the reason why IUP and Indiana were chosen as the first site because there has already been success in the region.
