There are all those things other reviewers praised: humor, plot, characters. All good and sometimes great, but...
Should have made the king at least 2 years older.
Age difference is not a problem, and monarch dynasties IRL had similar arranged marriages with an age gap. Problem is it's a shotacon, pedo territory. Easily avoided, so made deliberately for the sneaky hype on the forbidden fruit theme.
That white horse at the ending was so over the top. Nike from EP1 would have laughed abut it. Looks like love took at least 50 IQ points from her.

Great series. Humor, romance, story development, not to mention the occasional great song during the series.
Additionally, the characters grow during the series, and you get to see many different facets of them. If you're looking for something that may have slipped past your radar, this is a great series. Nothing feels wasted.

This is listed as similar to Snow White with the Red Hair. Unfortunately, the similarties are mostly superficial and The World Is Still Beautifull is far too reliant on tropes to compare them quality-wise.
That is not to say it's not a good show. Despite a lot of generic elements, it can be incredibly touching at times, as well as surprisingly funny. It was a lot more light-hearted than I expected in general. On the other hand, it can also be annoying - particularly when stupid misunderstandings cause artifical drama, a common writing crutch in romance - but thankfully, such moments are rare.
In the end, the good outweighs the mediocre, so it's hard not to recommend. Almost a must watch for romance fans.

A pretty decent love story that shows us once again that love knows no bounds. The main characters were entertaining and lovable, the plot was decent, and the music was amazing. The only diminishing factor, was the pacing. It just felt like it went on a rush to the finish line and some important moments that deserved more time just seemed to speed over into the next set of developments. Severely underrated, and worthy of a watch!

This is for romance fans such as me. Right up my alley. As usual, I'm terribly disappointed with the number of episodes...why no 20-and-something?? In my eyes it would've been perfect if it was only longer...anyway, when I think about the story, Livius is younger and shorter than Nike, but through his maturity we were being taught that such trivial factors present no obstacle to real love and emotions that grow in people. What I loved in this anime the most was therefore their relationship and reactions, but if it was me, I'd have used less comedy to make it perfect. It ruins the moment sometimes.

This is a solid romance series that contains likable main and side characters. Not only does this have good romance, but there is comedy and very good music to go along with some twists throughout this show. This was a pleasant watch start to finish. Check this out.

I enjoyed this anime very much. The romance was heart warming and touching. I loved the main characters, and it also has a good story with drama and fantasy. It needs a 2nd season though, because the anime is too short.
