Well animated, a cute coming of age story though wasn't quite sure what I was expecting I did think it would center around romance and I am a little bit of a purest when it comes to romance, so it didn't meet my expectations.
The synopsis of the story although not mind blowing the execution was done well turning a real life setting into something magical, which tidily mirrored the start with the ending making it a succinct well executed story.

Fairly solid one, but no revelation. A good way to pass 90 minutes, I did enjoy myself. But if you haven't seen Summer Wars yet, I'd heavily recommend watching that instead.
However I did enjoy the criticism to blind obedience. The message that you should not bend so far you give up who you actually are, how that can't lead to happiness for anyone. That the 'big bad' of the movie is actually still a doting father. No one being evil for evil's sake. And how social media gets ripped a new one as well. Shallow as it may seem at first, there's some hidden depths.

It is a simple slice of life type of anime, most part are pretty predictable except how the relationship turns out from the romance part. Really didn't expect that and felt a bit unsatisfying. But there is a little twist at the end with the young kid, which I think it kind of fill the void. This is not a bad movie.
