This is not just compilation - some scenes was added to be represented more from dauther point of view. Also some major plotholes was covered in movie.
Bad:
- change of format into movie & less screentime make it less dramatic, more shallow & tragicomedic
Good:
- it seems not only some (deleted?) scenes was added - fans of main series can notice covering of unanswered questions in minor storylines. Some old scenes also seems somewhat reworked - but even before that it was almost maximum that digital animation can do with all it limitations (many nowaday anime looks almost same, this Kakushigoto can be recognizable between all shows of last decade).
In general:
Probably "dauther perspective" deserves it own story, probably even in another timeline. Or even some personages can have storylines for 3-6 episodes each. Somewhat I feel that this drama or artstyle deserves more than summary of old scenes.
