It had some nice ideas going on, but it tries to do too many things at once. It starts off strong with some promising arcs, but then just drops them without finishing what it started. I'm all for experimentation, but sometimes less is more.
Take the Isekai/magic world-building, for example - it's abandoned after a few episodes, and suddenly we're in slice-of-life mode one minute, romance mode the next, and even cute episodic filler in between. It's like they can't make up their minds on what kind of show they want to be! As a result, I just felt jumbled and unsure of what to expect.
All in all, it wasn't bad - there were some enjoyable moments here and there - but it could've been so much better if they'd stuck to one direction and run with it.
4/10
