I liked the first season, but the 2nd season has to be one of the worst animes i've ever seen. I can't believe they released this, really sad..

The first season was mediocre but fun. But this second season is really, really bad. The budget must have been slashed to the bone and/or a new inexperienced studio took over the production. The animation is trash (more like a slide show than actual animation) the character design is very bad compared to the first season to the point where I could not recognize most of the characters.
The plot goes all over the place, and I was completely lost about halfway through the season. It seems to me this season was done out of some contractual obligation, and not from any real desire to tell an interesting story. Waste of time - skip.

As much as I wanted this, I am deeply disappointed in the way it has degraded. I mean, they couldn't even keep the same art style as the original. That really dragged things into the gutter, for me. Even though the story mostly follows the manga, the shitty animation ruins the mood.

This is technically a sequel BUT it does not feel like one! It feels more like completely different anime with same name and characters of same name …
Okay, so there was a major change in animation style everything now looks more childish (less detailed, more colorful, sometimes super deformed) and some characters looks nearly unrecognizable. There was also a change in voice actors and direction of anime. Whole vibe of anime was destroyed.
If you liked prequel, you won’t like this one, especially if you are going to watch them back-to-back – I guarantee it.
But if you didn’t see prequel, you can start here and it may be something for you. But don’t worry, the first two episodes will get you up to speed as they are just flashbacks of prequel (with strange remix in some events) and they are just enough to tell you everything you need to skip prequel.
