Very nice sequel to the first season. There was a noticeable budget lift halfway which improved the looks of the show, and during the same time, Sailor Moon R had many more plot related episodes than what the first season had, which was a very good thing.
Still, it felt like something was missing compared to the first season, which made this season not have as much of an impact on you. However, despite this, season 2 is definitely a worthy sequel.

Quality continuation of Sailor Moon continuing in well established world of Tokyo's Juban area and Usagi Tsukino. The ending of the first series was rather closed so I feared and was really interested in how they will follow up but the crossing was well made and smooth nevertheless cliché. The show itself feels less childish (Usagi acts more mature and cry less) on the other hand it feels more girlish than its prequel. The story is divided into two parts with different plots but both of them are as quality as the first Sailor Moon, the second part is even better. Add well-known characters, new mysteries and adventures, action, comedy and omnipresent (pathetic) romance and love and you obtain quality show that won't hurt nor disappoint you, by contraries it's enjoyable show you shouldn't miss.

A really good season, especially episodes 14-43. It consists of 2 arcs, first arc is nice because it partially continues the 1st season, but 2nd arc is much better, filled with mystery, tough battles, entangled emotions and as always, really good fights! OST + songs ftw!
