Anime: Kuroko no Baske (2013)

It's so much fun to marathon through a (sports) series such as this!
I needed a day for all eps including the specials which are great fun as well.

The characters are diverse - you like most of them and despise a few as well.
The action is still good and tops the first season in that aspect but also get more exaggerated thanks to some "super-moves" and "The Zone".
That is the only part which gets a bit boring.
Other than that it was a great watch again!

Hard not to marathon. Moving character development and body-language-inducing action. A great anime that leaves you inspired.

Kuroko no Basket is more about the game of life than basketball. One end of the spectrum has the evil Hanamiya, and Touou's cutting 'megane chara' who, "When it comes to doing things people hate, no one can beat him.". Why do some folk spend their time that way? If you've never experienced Being, the best you can envision becoming is Ego (an Asshole). Contrast this with Kiyoshi Teppei, Christlike, nay Godlike.

All of this is enabled by the best Invisible Man ever. Better than Azimov’s Mule, because Kuroko is kind.

Those who overlook the spirit of this series and demand realistic bball should watch ESPN. KnB is gripping because it depicts what we all sense is the real battle.

This season sticks to the series strengths for the most part, but drastically increases the amount of overexplained quasi-superpowers and generally focusses more on action-packed matches and close calls than character interaction.

Overall weaker and not as balanced as the first season, but more exciting. Makes it a good binge watch and it's still good fun either way.

A must see for everyone who liked the first. Really like the action and its fluid animation. Of course it is exaggerated but that is how an sports anime should be. If one wants to watch realistic basketball they should watch real basketball.

What can I say? This season is as fun to watch as its prequel, but it shares its same weaknesses: it's way too unrealistic and exaggerated. With its "ignite passes", "generation of miracles", "vanishing drives" and matches where the opponents are doing hundreds of illegal moves but the referee won't notice, it's hard to take it seriously, as it drifts away from a sports anime and rather feels like a fantasy one. Verdict: for younger viewers and fans only.

though i enjoyed this season a tiny little less than the first one.
it needs a 3rd season. looking forward for it.
