NCAA COMPLIANCE INFORMATION

West Chester University has a strong, national tradition of excellence in athletics. Every time a West Chester student-athlete or team meets with success, there is reason for friends and supporters of WCU and its Athletic Department to celebrate. It is the goal of the West Chester athletic department to ensure supporters, friends and fans that the University is not sacrificing its integrity to continue its proud tradition of athletic excellence.
 
We all enjoy seeing the Golden Rams win, but it is important to follow NCAA rules governing the recruitment and treatment of student-athletes in the process. The control and conduct of WCU's athletic program is the responsibility of the institution as a whole. Ensuring compliance includes taking responsibility for the actions of student-athletes, staff members and any other individual or organization engaged in activities in promoting WCU athletic interests.
 
The purpose of this site is to give you a summary of the rules that apply to you. Please take a few moments to read the information found on the compliance site. Your compliance efforts are greatly appreciated because violations could affect the eligibility of either a current student-athlete or a prospective student-athlete.
