Kadonosono Megumi was born April 28, 1970 and is a Japanese animator, animation director and character designer from Osaka, Japan. Her real name is Gotou Megumi and she is married to character designer Gotou Keij.
After graduating from Yoyogi Animation Gakuin Osaka she joined Project Team Muu, which later became Phoenix Entertainment. Kadonosono gave her debut 1992, as inbetweener in Choujin Densetsu Urotsukidouji 3 and in the same year as key animator in Mahou no Princess Minky Momo.
Afterwards she became freelancer, went to Tokyo and married character designer Gotou Keij.
She gave her debut as character designer in 1997 on Rayearth.
She is part of the three people animation project group gímik, together with her husband, character designer Gotou Keij and scriptwriter and mecha designer Kimura Hidefumi.
