Today I’m reflecting on an impactful couple of days spent at the International Mass Timber Conference in Portland. It is so exciting for Swinerton to be part of a community that is advancing the mass timber industry, at an event where we collaborate with other industry leaders to shape more sustainable built environments. I’d like to extend a special thanks to Swinerton’s Corporate Events Manager Erin Anderson for her third year as co-lead of the Swinerton-sponsored Women in Timber event at IMTC. Erin and her planning partners have grown this event from 100 people back in 2023 to 500+ attendees this year. Women in Timber provides a safe and inclusive space for attendees in all stages of their careers to have an opportunity to network, spark meaningful conversations, learn from one another, and build a more sustainable future together. I am thrilled to share that Swinerton was recently ranked #7 in the nation for Airport Facility Construction by Building Design+Construction. As we take our Aviation clients to new heights, we provide peace of mind with our commitment to excellence and over six decades of experience.
