[8] Hoc quoque culpa tua est. She seems here to contradict herself. The meaning is, that Achilles was not to be blamed for delivering her up to the king, since that could not have been avoided; but he might justly be charged with delivering her up too quickly, as it would have been easy to create delays; and delays in such cases are grateful.
