Even if it has short episodes, this anime is beautiful (as expected from a Minori Works), it cannot be compared to the EF series (not even remotely) but if you like Minori works you will surely love this anime.
In my case aside of ther story (that i loved) for this anime i have higly appreciated the painted enviromend and the wise use of the CG (or its more correct the 3d scrolling), this one is definetely recommended.

I dunno about the game at all, but after watching it, I can tell you that this anime have a good pace, an enjoyable plot (...even if there some holes never explained!), and a quite "gusty" romance! ^_^ Anyway, I found it pretty captivating so I recommend to watch it! ;)

The ones who've played the game won't find much new in the anime, and the somewhat questionable quality and microscopically short episodes wont justify the great storyline adapted from the game (it had Clannad potential in my opinion). Hence all that, I believe the anime is watchable with a catchy OP theme and mysterious shortstory-like ending.
