DONETSK, April 22. /TASS/. Russian forces are advancing towards Krasnoarmeysk (known as Pokrovsk in Ukraine) in the Donetsk People's Republic from the settlements of Kotlino and Shevchenko, and Kiev has "not much" reserves left, Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the republic's head, said on the Solovyov Live TV channel.
"We are moving towards Pokrovsk along the railroad from Kotlino, which is a major success for us. Our troops are also moving to the north, a bit to the east, in the Shevchenko area, close to our Krasnoarmeysk. The movement there is very strong. The enemy is already failing there, which shows that he has not so many reserves left in this direction," Kimakovsky said.
He recalled that the Ukrainian army attempted to "cut off" Russia's advance by drones. According to Kimakovsky, these efforts failed, as everything the enemy tried to reclaim remains under the Russian Armed Forces’ control.
