MOSCOW, April 22. /TASS/. The grain harvest in Russia last year, despite the adverse weather conditions, amounted to 129.8 mln metric tons and was the fifth highest in the country’s history, Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut said.
"We produced 129.8 mln metric tons in 2024; the fifth harvest in the history of the country. You may recall what the weather was last year. It was awful in all the periods: during seeding and during harvesting," Lut said.
The good grain harvest was gathered last year, the minister noted. "It is enough to feed ourselves and feed 160 countries of our world more," she stressed.
